Creepy horror game featuring mascot monsters

Bucky's Grounds: Pre-Alpha is a free adventure game developed by Kyle Kirley. This first-person horror title features distinct VHS-like retro styling and centers around a dark and mysterious playground from where visiting kids never return. Players will conduct an investigation into this phenomenon first-hand.

A dark otherworldly playground

In Bucky's Grounds: Pre-Alpha, you're on a mission to uncover the truth behind the missing children who go to the mysterious Khancoban Playground in another dimension. You’re Bucky and his mascot friends’ next prey. Communicate via walkie-talkie with your colleague, Ricky, who will keep track of your movements within the maze-like place.

Along the way, you will discover secrets and clues to what happened to the missing kids and need to collect chocolate to progress through Khancoban. To help defend yourself from unfortunate encounters with Bucky, repel him with your camera flash. The game is in early stages of development and is just a preview.

Where kids play and disappear

Bucky's Grounds: Pre-Alpha is definitely invoking Five Nights At Freddy's vibes and if you're a fan of that series, then you will like what it has to offer. The gameplay is quite similar and the presentation is just as creepy and scary, too. This is just a preview but it's already shaping up to be an interesting release.

PROS

  • Dark and creepy
  • Five Nights at Freddy’s vibes
